Note: This app requires SIP to be disabled to install.

Step 1: Drag 2 Modo 16 files into Application to install as usual

Step 2: Run the installation file FLT7.1v1-mac-x86-release-64.pkg

Step 3: Press Cmd + Space (spotlight) to find and run FoundryLicenseUtility > Select RLM Server and click Stop Server

Step 4: Continue to select FLEXlm Server and also click Stop Server

Step 5: Still on the License Utility screen> select Diagnostics and click Run Diagnostics. This information will be used for Step 8

Step 6: Return to the installer, open the file The Foundry Modo 16 Patch

– Open the 2 folders FLEXlm and RLM in turn, then drag the rlm.foundry file into each opened folder.

Step 7: Open Terminal and run the following command:

chmod 755 /Applications/TheFoundry/LicensingTools7.1/bin/RLM/rlm.foundry

Step 8: Reopen the installer, copy the xf_foundry.lic file to the Desktop. Then open xf_foundry.lic with any editor

Get Host Name and Ethernet Address information in Step 5. Replace the contents of the xf_foundry.lic file

Step 9: Open Finder> Select Go> Go to Folder: paste this line to open the RLM and FLEXLM folders

Step 10: Copy the xf_foundry.lic file from the desktop (after editing) into the 2 folders in Step 9

Step 11: Return to Desktop. Right-click on the xf_foundry.lic file > select Open With> FoundryLicenseUtility. A screen like this appears, it is successful.

Select Ok, then another screen will open, select YES > Enter the password to log in to the computer.

Step 12: The FoundryLicenseUtility screen will reappear, select as shown.

Then select again as shown.
