2. Steps to create a Polaroid template in Photoshop

Prepare the frame

Step 1: You can start a new frame by pressing Crtl+N, set the size to 1,500px x 1,000px.

Step 2: Then go to File > Place and place the wood texture on top of your Polaroid template layer.

3. Create a Polaroid Photo Frame Template in Photoshop

To be able to create an attractive Polaroid pattern in Photoshop you need a unique photo frame:

Step 1: Select U to create a rectangle. The Stoke setting is now off and creates a shape the size of a Polaroid image as follows:

Width: 650px

Height: 800px

Step 2: Create another rectangle but this time the Polaroid photo size is:

Width: 580px

Height: 580px

Step 3: Select both shapes and the Background layer, then choose Align > Center to center the document.

Step 4: Finally, move the second Polaroid film sample up 65px while holding the Shift key.

Step 5: Now we need to place the paper texture above the first shape, then right click and select create Clipping Mask.

Step 6: You need to brighten your Polaroid pattern by selecting the pattern, then go to Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast and use the settings: Brightness: 145: Contrast: 0.

Step 7: The final step in this section is to add a shadow to the Polaroid template. Select the first image, then double-click on it. Select Drop Shadow and use the settings:

Color: Black

Blend Mode: Multiply

Opacity: 45%

Distance: 11

Spread: 10

Size: 8

Step 1: If you want to create multiple Polaroid frames, you need to group all the elements together. Select them in the Layers panel and then choose Create a New Group.

Step 2: Then, create two copies of this Layer group by pressing Ctrl+J
