1. What is Adobe Firefly AI?

2. How to use Adobe Firefly AI to expand images
Step 1: With the image in Photoshop, use the Crop tool to expand the canvas. First, we expand the abstract illustration, then look at the landscape and people in Adobe Photoshop using Firefly.
Step 2: Hold Ctrl/Command and click on your image layer in the Layers panel. Then go to Select => Inverse to invert the selection to select empty parts of the design. You can expand images in any direction by selecting empty areas of the canvas to fill them.
Step 3: Click the Generative Fill button, keep the prompt box blank and click Generate. When creating without a prompt, Photoshop will use the existing pixels as a reference and try to fill in the gaps.
- Step 4: We will have 3 variations to choose from in the Window => Properties panel. Or you can create more by using the Generate button right in the Properties panel.
